Product Details

Polyoxymethylene (POM) GF705 is a glass fiber-reinforced copolymer polyoxymethylene engineering plastic from the Korean brand KOCETAL. 


Main Features:

High rigidity and high strength: 25% glass fiber reinforcement allows the material to withstand significant mechanical loads, making it ideal for manufacturing structural components and high-load parts.

Flame retardant:  UL94 flame retardant rating.

Excellent wear resistance and self-lubrication: Inheriting the excellent properties of POM as "engineering plastic," it has a low coefficient of friction, excellent wear resistance, and the material itself is self-lubricating, requiring no additional lubricant. Suitable for bearings, gears, and other sliding parts.

Good processing performance: GF705 is a low-viscosity grade with good melt flowability, making it easy to injection mold.


Application:

Automotive parts: Used in the manufacture of gears and bearings that can withstand long-term loads and repeated stress, improving component lifespan and reliability.

Electronic components: Suitable for connectors, switches, coils, and other components requiring high precision and long-term plug-in stability.
