EVA ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, English name ETHYLENE-VINYLACETATECOPOLYMER, referred to as EVA, is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, generally with a vinyl acetate (VA) content of 5% to 40%. Compared with polyethylene, EVA has reduced high crystallinity and improved flexibility, impact resistance, filler compatibility and heat sealing properties due to the introduction of vinyl acetate monomers in the molecular chain.
EVA with an ethyl acetate content of 5% to 10% has elastic films and other products; 3. EVA with an ethyl acetate content of 20% to 28% is mainly used for hot melt adhesives and coating products.
EVA is a copolymer of LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) and acetic acid (VA).
EVA is widely used in foaming shoe materials, functional shed films, packaging molds, hot melt adhesives, wires and cables, and toys. 1. EVA with an ethyl acetate content of less than 5% has main products such as films, wires and cables, LDPE modifiers, adhesives, etc.
