POE plastic (polyolefin elastomer) is a thermoplastic elastomer made by in-situ polymerization of ethylene and octene or butene using metallocene catalysts. It belongs to the polyolefin material.
Transparent POE Granules
In the automotive industry, POE is primarily used to modify and toughen PP, PE, and PA for use in bumpers, fenders, steering wheels, and seat cushions.
In the wire and cable industry, it is used for insulation and sheathing where high heat and environmental resistance are required. It is also suitable for low-smoke, halogen-free flame retardants, hose packaging for cosmetics and food, and flame-retardant masterbatches, as well as stretch film, wrapping film, and various types of cling film.
Key Features
Suitable for a wide range of film and compounding applications whichrequire high filler acceptance such as sound deadening sheets andmasterbatches.
Other typical applications include calendered or extruded sheet/profilesand injection molded goods.Excellent adhesion to conventional or metallocene PP and PE.Very good elasticity and toughness.
