LDPE 2220H is an injection molding grade low density polyethylene resin.
Low-density polyethylene (LDPE), also known as high-pressure polyethylene, is a plastic material that is suitable for various molding processes of thermoplastic molding and has good molding processability. LDPE is mainly used for film products, but also for injection molding products, medical appliances, pharmaceutical and food packaging materials, blow molding hollow molding products, etc.
SHENHUA company uses the methanol-to-olefins process of the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences to produce polyethylene. The polyethylene plant adopts LUPOTECHTS® high-pressure tubular reactor technology from Basell, Germany. It adopts single-point feed of ethylene, uses propylene and propionaldehyde as regulators, and uses peroxide as an initiator. It is a four-stage pulse reactor with a maximum single-pass conversion rate of 37%. It produces homopolyethylene product 2220H.
LDPE 2220H grade product is a high-end medium-voltage cable insulation material with a melt index of 2.0g/10min and a density of 0.921-0.924g/cm3, which can be used for 36KV cables, while ordinary low-density polyethylene products are only suitable for cables below 10KV.
