High flow high gloss food grade

    Description:

LDPE 2220H is an injection molding grade low density polyethylene resin.

Low-density polyethylene (LDPE), also known as high-pressure polyethylene, is a plastic material that is suitable for various molding processes of thermoplastic molding and has good molding processability. LDPE is mainly used for film products, but also for injection molding products, medical appliances, pharmaceutical and food packaging materials, blow molding hollow molding products, etc.

    Roduction Process:

SHENHUA company uses the methanol-to-olefins process of the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences to produce polyethylene. The polyethylene plant adopts LUPOTECHTS® high-pressure tubular reactor technology from Basell, Germany. It adopts single-point feed of ethylene, uses propylene and propionaldehyde as regulators, and uses peroxide as an initiator. It is a four-stage pulse reactor with a maximum single-pass conversion rate of 37%. It produces homopolyethylene product 2220H.

    • Polyethylene is by far the most common type of consumer plastic, and is used in many everyday materials. It is a thermoplastic product, meaning that it can be melted into a liquid and then cooled back into a solid, many times over. Different processing conditions give rise to different grades of polyethylene that can be used for very different purposes—from flexible cling wrap on the one end of the spectrum, to hard bollard post covers on the other.

    • Polyethylene or polythene (abbreviated PE; IUPAC name polyethene or poly(methylene)) is the most common plastic in use today. It is a polymer, primarily used for packaging (plastic bags, plastic films, geomembranes and containers including bottles, etc.). As of 2017, over 100 million tonnes of polyethylene resins are being produced annually, accounting for 34% of the total plastics market.
